Q&A

CCA RECRUITMENT DAY Q&A - PLEASE MEMORISE!!! =)

1. What is GB all about?

- GB stands for Girls' Brigade

- It is a Christian organization but you do not have to be
a Christian in order to join
(give personal experience,
e.g. stating that you are also a non-christian)

- It is a uniform group that is different from other
uniform groups because it follows a 4-fold programme:
educational, spiritual, physical and social.

a) educational - learn new skills such as handicraft
(you can show them your photo frames and the little clays)
b) spiritual - learn about Christianity / Jesus / God
c) physical - drill, camps, etc.
d) social - interaction among girls and officers and your
other friends

When you are explaining the 4-fold programme, use the posters
and photos as a guide and show the girls the fun we had and
will be having. =)

2. What are some of the benefits that new girls will gain
when they join GB?

- they can enjoy many fun activities such as camps,
ice-skating, scrap booking etc
(add whatever other activities you have done in the past)

Highlight that GB is more flexible than other uniform groups
and so there are many many many types of activities that
we can arrange, depending on what they are interested in.

- they can form strong friendships because you all go through
thick and thin together (share your own experience)

- they will learn a lot of important life skills,
e.g. leadership, teamwork, discipline etc
(share what you have learnt).
Basically GB will help you grow up to be a better person! =)
