Criteria for Promotion:
(as of 2 Jan 09)

PRIVATE TO LANCE CORPORAL

1) Girls must hold service award for the year and have participated actively in company activities.
2) Girls must be 13 years old and above.
3) They must be able to do basic drill.
4) Completed Brigade Knowledge or Healthy Attitudes I Badge.
5) Have good attitude and shown to be responsible and reliable.

LANCE CORPORAL TO CORPORAL

1)Girls must hold service award for the preceding year and have participated actively in company activities.
2)Has been a Lance Corporal for 6 months.
3)Attended GBHQ Corporals’ camp in the current year.
4)Completed Drill Stage I Syllabus.
5)Completed Brigade Knowledge/Healthy Attitudes I Badge + 1 other badge.
6)Have good attitude and shown to be responsible and reliable.

CORPORAL TO SERGEANT

1)Girls must hold service award for the preceding year and have participated actively in company activities.
2)Has been a Corporal for 6 months.
3)Attended GBHQ Sergeants’ Weekend in the current year.
4)Completed Drill Stage II Syllabus.
5)Completed Brigade International or Healthy Attitudes II Badge + 1 other badge.
6)Have good attitude and shown to be responsible and reliable.

SERGEANT TO STAFF- SERGEANT

1)Girls must hold service award for the preceding year and have participated actively in company activities.
2)Has been a sergeant for 6 months.
3)Attended GBHQ Leadership Conference in the current year.
4)Attained Drill Proficiency Badge I.
5)Completed Brigade International or Healthy Attitudes II Badge + 1 other badge.
6)First-Aid Badge.
7)Have good attitude and shown to be responsible and reliable.
